Workers’ Compensation

Workers’ Compensation is a system developed to compensate injured workers when they get hurt as a result of their employment. Employees that get injured do not sue their employer in court. A claim is filed with the employer’s Workers’ Compensation insurance carrier. Benefits are provided for lost wages for total and partial disability, death, medical expenses, vocational re-training, and a few other specified benefits.
